Meta rises over 5% as personal AI assistant Muse is launched

At the opening of the US stock market, the Dow Jones fell 0.15%, the S&P 500 Index dropped 0.25%, and the Nasdaq declined 0.36%. Meta Platforms (META.US) rose more than 5% after the company launched its personal AI agent Muse. Amazon (AMZN.US) fell 1.2% due to its first four-part pound bond issuance. Apple (AAPL.US) dipped slightly by 0.2% ahead of a major product launch event.
