The preliminary close of the STOXX 600 index in Europe fell by 1.57%, at 639.41 points. The preliminary close of the Eurozone STOXX 50 index dropped by 1.82%, at 6297.45 points. The preliminary close of the FTSE Eurotop 300 index declined by 1.55%, at 2554.12 points.
