XRP Ledger Gains Attention Across Global Finance

  • France ranks first, with regulated EURCV deployed while major institutions coordinate broader tokenization work across financial markets.
  • Japan ranks second after SBI Ripple Asia identified the ledger for tokenized deposits and Japan-Korea payment infrastructure development.
  • Swift ranks third as interoperability needs grow across tokenized assets, bank money, stablecoins, securities and settlement networks.

XRP Ledger is drawing institutional attention as France, Japan and major financial networks emerge as possible venues for future testing and tokenized finance, after recent BIS and Brazil disclosures.

France Leads the Institutional Watchlist

The supplied post ranks France as the leading candidate for another institutional disclosure. EURCV, issued by Société Générale-FORGE, already operates on XRP Ledger. France also has several institutions coordinating broader tokenization efforts.

Bpifrance plans EURCV use across settlement, payments, treasury and liquidity operations. However, Bpifrance has not specified which EURCV blockchain deployment it will use.

Banque de France, the AMF and Treasury are studying tokenized financial markets. Their group includes banks, exchanges, custodians and asset managers. The work covers deposits, stablecoins, securities and wholesale central-bank money.

Pythagore adds another layer through planned tokenization of French short-term debt. Banque de France and Euroclear are preparing work around the NEU-CP market. The settlement is connected to Eurosystem’s Pontes wholesale-CBDC infrastructure.

Japan and Singapore Build Direct Connections

Japan ranks second because SBI Ripple Asia has provided more direct evidence. Its proof of concept considered XRP Ledger for tokenized bank deposits. Further work also considered Japan-Korea payments and blockchain-based financial services.

The next Japanese development being watched is direct bank participation. The post points toward tokenized yen deposits, wholesale settlement or foreign-exchange activity. Such participation would move beyond infrastructure exploration toward bank-level use.

Singapore already has public institutional activity involving the network. Ripple and Unloq are testing programmable trade-finance settlement using XRPL and RLUSD. Franklin Templeton and DBS add tokenized funds and collateral-related activity.

The UAE also has an established government-linked tokenization project. Dubai Land Department has issued tokenized real-estate title deeds using the ledger. The broader project is moving toward secondary-market resale and deeper market functions.

Swift Expands the Interoperability Question

Hong Kong provides another regulator-linked example through the e-HKD pilot. Ripple and Fubon Bank participated in work involving tokenized property and lending. Ripple later described XRPL-related infrastructure within that broader solution.

Swift is ranked third because interoperability connects otherwise separate financial networks. Its work with SG-FORGE included tokenized-bond settlement using EURCV. The supplied post does not claim XRPL handled that specific transaction.

The United States shows a broader capital-markets connection around digital assets. BNY, Guggenheim, Ondo and Securitize appear across custody, commercial paper and tokenized securities. The supplied material gives no current XRP price figure for this report.

Across these markets, the central theme remains institutional infrastructure rather than exchange activity. The post tracks bank money, Treasuries, funds, property, securities and settlement. Its ranking places France, Japan and Swift-linked institutions ahead of others.

On the second day of the Goldman Sachs Technology Conference, SanDisk provided a supply-side assessment for the storage industry: NAND supply growth is expected to remain constrained for the foreseeable future, while AI inference demand continues to expand, resulting in a long-term tight supply-demand balance. Meanwhile, companies such as Etsy, Booking.com, and Block disclosed tangible AI deployment progress in areas including matching and conversion, customer service, and infrastructure, demonstrating that AI is accelerating from a conceptual stage to measurable commercial returns.

The Great Debate on AI Bottlenecks: 2027 Peak Bottleneck vs 2028 Capacity Boom and Price Collapse

Analyst Ben Bajarin believes that the demand for AI computing power will continue to grow, and 2027 will be the "bottleneck" year with the most severe industry-wide supply constraints. In 2028, supply and demand are expected to remain slightly tight but balanced. Jay Goldberg, on the other hand, warns that the historical cycle's iron law suggests that massive production capacity from companies like TSMC could lead to a collapse in pricing power and a reversion of profit margins to the mean. Both agree that the era of "blindly buying into the AI supply chain and seeing instant surges" has ended, and investors must now carefully select core assets with resilience in cross-cycle pricing.
