Nvidia Expands AI Infrastructure Capacity in Australia With Up to 2 Gigawatt Buildout

04:10 AM EDT, 09/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Nvidia (NVDA) is collaborating with cloud and artificial intelligence infrastructure providers in Australia to expand capacity for its DSX AI factories, with plans to deliver up to a 2 gigawatt buildout by 2027, the company said Wednesday. Nvidia will provide the DSX platform, accelerated computing, networking, software and ecosystem support, while its partners will operate the AI factories and expand land, power and data center capacity, Nvidia said. The expanded infrastructure is intended to provide Australian startups, universities, researchers, enterprises and AI-native companies with greater access to accelerated computing and Nvidia Nemotron open models, it said. Partners include Firmus, Sharon AI, IREN, Megaport, ResetData, CDC, NEXTDC and AirTrunk, Nvidia said. Financial terms were not disclosed.
