Swarmer to Acquire Ukraine's Ratel Robotics for Up to $224 Million

06:18 AM EDT, 09/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Swarmer (SWMR) said Thursday it has agreed to acquire Ukrainian unmanned ground vehicle manufacturer Ratel Robotics for up to $224 million in cash and stock. Ratel's more than 300 employees are expected to join Swarmer when the deal closes, the company said. Swarmer said that Ratel Robotics has won contracts worth $86 million this year and is currently in contract talks with multiple NATO nations under the "Build With Ukraine" initiative. Swarmer shares were up 3.3% in Thursday's premarket activity.
