Shanghai Futures Exchange: Approved Sinopec Refining and Sales Company as an additional registered producer for petroleum asphalt

September 10—The Shanghai Futures Exchange announced that it has recently received an application from Sinopec Refinery Sales Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Sinopec Refinery Sales) regarding the addition of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation Guangzhou Branch (hereinafter referred to as Guangzhou Petrochemical Branch) as a registered producer of petroleum asphalt futures. According to the "Shanghai Futures Exchange Petroleum Asphalt Registered Commodities Management Regulations" and other relevant provisions, after research and decision: 1. It is agreed that Sinopec Refinery Sales may add Guangzhou Petrochemical Branch as a registered producer of petroleum asphalt futures at the exchange. 2. From the date of this announcement, 70# Grade A road petroleum asphalt produced by Guangzhou Petrochemical Branch can be used for the performance of delivery under the exchange’s petroleum asphalt futures contracts.
