PI trades near $0.09612, up 0.87% today, continuing a slow grind higher inside a rising wedge that’s held since the July low near $0.07. Price has tested the wedge’s upper boundary near $0.098 to $0.10 twice in the past month, including a sharp wick to $0.1095 in late August, without a clean breakout either time.

The EMA structure stays mixed. Price sits above the 20-day EMA at $0.09332 and just below the 50-day at $0.09417, both converging almost exactly at current price, while the 100-day at $0.10600 and 200-day at $0.14304 remain well overhead, both still trending down from earlier in the year. Bollinger Bands have narrowed to $0.08776 (lower) and $0.09780 (upper), a tight range that typically precedes a larger move once price breaks either side.

Resistance $0.0978

Pi Network released Pi Desktop version 0.6.3, its first release under the new “Pi Desktop” naming rather than “Pi Node,” bringing several updates to SoloHost, the platform’s self-hosted app system. Community apps now get ranked by how many people are currently running them, and a new “My Apps” section lets developers manage what they’ve published.

On the reliability side, a new readiness probe checks whether an app is actually responding before showing it as live, aimed at reducing intermittent 502 errors. The release also fixes a bug where SoloHost login tokens could expire if Pi Desktop stayed running for multiple days, and adds a public GitHub repository structured for AI coding tools to help developers build SoloHost apps faster.

Pi’s circulating supply sat at roughly 11.142 billion PI as of late August, against a 100 billion maximum supply, according to CoinGecko data cited by BSCN. The gap comes from two places:

  • Unmigrated coins: mined but not yet moved through KYC and Mainnet checkout
  • Locked coins: already migrated but still held under a Pioneer’s chosen commitment period, which can run up to three years in exchange for higher mining rewards

Unlocks don’t hit all at once. Millions of users picked different lockup start dates and durations, so tokens release on a rolling basis rather than in a single batch. Reporting from March 2026 put the pace at more than 4.6 million PI unlocking daily that month, and CoinStats estimates roughly 1.21 billion PI is set to unlock across all of 2026.

That gap between total and circulating supply shows up starkly in valuation. At PI’s current price, its fully diluted valuation works out to roughly $9.2 billion, nearly nine times its actual market cap of about $1.0 billion, the clearest single number for how much dilution is still ahead if demand doesn’t keep pace with new supply hitting the market.

PI holds above $0.0928 and breaks decisively above the wedge resistance near $0.0978. A close above that level opens room toward the 100-day EMA at $0.1060, the first real test of the broader downtrend that’s held since earlier this year.

PI loses $0.0928 and slips back toward the lower Bollinger Band at $0.0877. A break below that would suggest the multi-week wedge is resolving lower rather than building toward a breakout.

What is the Pi Network price prediction for September 11, 2026?

PI could extend toward $0.1060 if it clears the wedge resistance near $0.0978 and holds above $0.0928. Losing $0.0928 risks a slide toward the lower Bollinger Band at $0.0877.

What’s new in Pi Desktop version 0.6.3?

The update adds app ranking by active usage, a new “My Apps” management section, a readiness probe to cut down on 502 errors, and a GitHub repository built for AI-assisted app development, part of Pi Network’s SoloHost platform.

How much of Pi’s total supply is actually circulating?

Roughly 11.142 billion PI out of a 100 billion maximum supply as of late August 2026, according to CoinGecko data, with the rest either unmigrated or locked under voluntary staking-style commitments.

How much PI is scheduled to unlock this year?

CoinStats estimates roughly 1.21 billion PI is due to unlock across 2026, released gradually as individual lockup periods mature rather than in a single event.

According to media reports, Musk has implemented a major overhaul of data center management, appointing a veteran from the rocket business as the new head. The new management team requires more comprehensive testing before data centers go online, and demands the installation of additional backup power and cooling systems, sacrificing construction speed for higher reliability. Last week, a power outage at the Memphis data center caused some Grok models to go offline and triggered a chain reaction affecting computing power rental clients such as Anthropic and Google.
