RingCentral Introduces ChatGPT Plugin, MCP Connectors for Claude

09:08 AM EDT, 09/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- RingCentral (RNG) said Thursday it introduced a new plugin for Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI's ChatGPT and model context protocol connectors for Amazon-backed (AMZN) Anthropic's Claude. The tools make context from voice, SMS and chat-based interaction data available to large language models, allowing businesses to prioritize leads, generate relevant talking points and send personalized SMS reminders, among other uses, RingCentral said. The new MCP connectors for voice, SMS and chat are currently available with all paid RingEX plans, while the plugin for ChatGPT can be installed from RingCentral's App Gallery and the ChatGPT Directory, according to a statement.
