European Equities Traded in the US as American Depositary Receipts Drop in Thursday Trading

11:34 AM EDT, 09/10/2026 (MT Newswires) -- European equities traded in the US as American depositary receipts were trending lower late Thursday morning, declining 0.41% to 1,938.57 on the S&P Europe Select ADR Index. From continental Europe, the gainers were led by biopharmaceutical company Cellectis (CLLS) and accommodations booking site trivago (TRVG), which advanced 1.6% and 1.1% respectively. They were followed by medical device maker EDAP TMS (FOCL) and 3D printer company Materialise (MTLS), which increased 1.2% and 0.8% respectively. The decliners from continental Europe were led by biotech firm Evaxion (EVAX) and biopharmaceutical company DBV Technologies (DBVT), which lost 5% and 2.7% respectively. They were followed by biotech firm BioNTech (BNTX) and biopharmaceutical company Grifols (GRFS), which were down 1.8% and 1.7% respectively. The gainers from the UK were led by software firm Endava (DAVA) and biopharmaceutical company Akari Therapeutics (AKTX), which were up 2% and 1.6% respectively. They were followed by telecommunications operator Vodafone Group (VOD) and pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca (AZN), which rose 1.2% and 1.5% respectively. The decliners from the UK and Ireland were led by mining company BHP Group (BHP) and biotech firm Trinity Biotech (TRIB), which fell 4.7% and 5.6% respectively. They were followed by biopharmaceutical companies Amarin (AMRN) and Biodexa Pharmaceuticals (BDRX), which dropped 2.2% and 3% respectively.
