On September 10, international crude oil prices saw a significant upward trend. By the close of trading that day, the price of the light crude oil futures contract for October delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $6.43 to finally settle at $102.48 per barrel, marking a 6.69% increase. The November delivery contract price for Brent crude oil futures in London increased by $6.42, closing at $107.63 per barrel, an increase of 6.34%. This sharp rise in oil prices also reflects the volatile characteristics of the current international crude oil market, influenced by a combination of supply and demand expectations, geopolitical situations, and other factors.
