According to reports, Peter Clarke, Senior Vice President of Liquefied Natural Gas at ExxonMobil International Limited, stated that ExxonMobil expects its global LNG sales portfolio to reach about 50 million tons per year by 2030, up from the previous estimate of 40 million tons. Clarke said that overall, global liquefied natural gas demand is expected to grow from around 400 million tons currently to 500 million tons by 2030.
