10:32 AM EDT, 09/14/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Eos Energy Enterprises (EOSE) said Monday it has received an initial $87 million advance under the second tranche of its loan agreement with the US Department of Energy to fund the second production line at its Thorn Hill manufacturing facility in Warrendale, Pennsylvania. The company said it has now drawn about $178 million of its DOE facility since 2024. The advance reimburses 80% of eligible costs at the Thorn Hill facility, where the second production line entered commercial production in June and is ramping toward 2 GWh of annual capacity, Eos Energy said. The facility is expected to reach about 4 GWh across two lines after Line 1 is relocated, the company said. Eos Energy Enterprises shares were down 2.2% in Monday trading.
