Treasury Yields Slip After Hitting Multi-Year Highs -- Market Talk
Dow Jones2026/09/14 19:531552 ET - Treasury yields give back early increases and settle just below Friday levels, as investors grapple with volatile oil prices and their potential impact on the global economy. Crude futures rise 1%, cooling from a pace as fast as 5% in early trade. A dollar rally also slows during the day. Markets now price 93% odds of a Fed hike Wednesday, according to LSEG. The 10-year yield drops 0.014 percentage point to 4.960%, after rising above 5% in the morning for the first time since 2023.
