TotalEnergies (TTE.US) partners with Mistral: €100 million bet on AI exploration, European "sovereign AI" implemented in core energy scenarios

According to Jinzi Finance APP, TotalEnergies (TTE.US) will collaborate with French artificial intelligence startup Mistral AI to enhance its oil and gas exploration capabilities with the help of artificial intelligence and extend the lifespan of existing oil fields. In a statement released on Tuesday, the two parties announced plans to develop proprietary advanced models based on decades of geological science data and intend to invest more than 100 million euros (about $115 million) in this joint project over the next three years.
