Lindblad Expeditions Buys 60% Stake in White Desert, Echo Charlie

08:08 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lindblad Expeditions (LIND) said Tuesday it bought a 60% ownership stake in Antarctic travel firm White Desert and aviation brand Echo Charlie for roughly $61 million in cash. The deal price includes an additional $6 million for existing cash reserves, the company said. Both acquired businesses will continue to run as independent operations, and White Desert founder Patrick Woodhead will serve as White Desert chairman and Echo Charlie chief executive while joining Lindblad as a strategic innovation adviser, the company said.
