American Express Launches New Savings Account for Businesses

09:31 AM EDT, 09/15/2026 (MT Newswires) -- American Express (AXP) on Tuesday introduced a new high-yield savings account for businesses. The new account will offer an annual percentage yield of 2.95% and online money transfers, with no monthly maintenance fees or a required minimum balance, the company said. Customers can apply for a business savings account or a business checking account in the same application, the company said. Later this year, American Express will also launch a new way for Graphite Business Cash Unlimited Card members to redeem rewards for deposits into their business checking accounts, it added.
