Blackstone, Tinicum Win EU Clearance for Senior, AeroFlow Buyout

06:33 AM EDT, 09/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Blackstone (BX) and Tinicum gained regulatory approval to jointly acquire UK-based Senior plc and US-based AeroFlow Technologies, the European Commission, or EC, said Wednesday. The transaction centers mainly on manufacturing aerospace components, the Commission said. The acquisition was reviewed under the EU's simplified merger procedure, and regulators determined the transaction poses no antitrust concerns due to the limited combined market share of the businesses, the EC said.
