Salesforce, OpenAI Partner to Advance Missionforce AI in Secure Government Environments

09:38 AM EDT, 09/16/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Salesforce (CRM) expanded Missionforce with new purpose-built AI capabilities and a partnership with Microsoft-backed (MSFT) OpenAI to bring frontier AI models to secure government environments, the company said Wednesday. OpenAI models are planned to integrate with Salesforce's Public Sector Solutions through Amazon's (AMZN) Amazon Bedrock, while Missionforce applications and workflows will be accessible through ChatGPT for authorized government and national security personnel, the company said. The expanded platform includes the Missionforce Policy Engine, which will use OpenAI's generative AI to convert approved policy documents into structured rules and test cases. Salesforce is also partnering with Nvidia (NVDA) to bring its models and accelerated computing to Missionforce, enabling customers to train and deploy mission-specific models on their own data and infrastructure, it added.
