Franklin Templeton’s XRP exchange-traded fund, known as XRPZ, continued to draw new investor interest with net inflows totaling approximately $3.5 million. This influx marked one of the highest daily net flows among XRP ETFs in recent sessions and came amid a period of heightened volatility for the token.
Franklin Templeton’s XRP ETF leads with $3.5 million inflow despite price slump
Consistent demand for Franklin’s XRPZ
The latest fund flow data indicated that Franklin’s XRPZ was the only XRP fund to secure positive inflows for the day, standing out from competing products. Data from SoSoValue showed that the net inflow for XRPZ reached $3.5013 million on September 16. Cumulatively, the Franklin XRP ETF has now gathered net inflows of about $483 million since launch.
CoinGlass reported that, earlier in the week, all $2.73 million in net inflows to XRP ETFs were entirely attributed to Franklin’s product. On other sessions, such as September 10, Franklin captured all $3.69 million in net inflows.

Franklin Templeton has emerged as one of the most stable sources of XRP ETF demand throughout September, often recording fund inflows on days when competitors did not.
Competitive landscape among XRP ETFs
Recent data highlighted notable variations in net influx across different providers. On September 9, XRP ETFs drew roughly $8.67 million, with Bitwise’s fund receiving $6.57 million and Grayscale’s product securing $2.11 million. In contrast, Franklin dominated other sessions by capturing the majority or entire inflows during quieter trading days.

| Sept 9 | $8.67M | $0 | $6.57M | $2.11M |
There were no recorded ETF net flows on September 11 and September 15, while September 14 saw inflows of $8.40 million across all XRP funds. Franklin Templeton’s continued positive flows set it apart in a period characterized by market uncertainty.
XRP price action and legislative headwinds
The ongoing inflows have occurred as XRP’s price experienced significant swings. The token’s sharp drop followed the US Senate’s failure to advance the CLARITY Act on September 15. The procedural vote missed the required threshold of 60 votes, marking a setback for the digital asset industry and prompting widespread selling across cryptocurrencies.
CoinGecko data showed XRP trading near $1.42 on September 14 before declining to about $1.28 on September 15, a fall of approximately 10%. The crypto asset later rebounded modestly, reaching around $1.30 in subsequent trading sessions.
At the latest reading, XRP remained near $1.30, fluctuating in a 24-hour range of about $1.25 to $1.31. Over the past week, the token was down roughly 6.7%, and over the last month, it had lost around 30.1% in value.
XRPZ continued to attract new funds even as the wider market reacted to the US Senate’s rejection of key cryptocurrency legislation, demonstrating persistent investor appetite for exposure to the token via regulated products.

After the Federal Reserve released hawkish signals, Goldman Sachs changed its stance: expects another 25 basis point hike in October
Goldman Sachs’ core rationale for including a rate hike in October as its baseline scenario is that since the Federal Reserve has characterized this hike as a move to "more promptly return" to the 2% target, following up in consecutive meetings is more natural than skipping meetings between hikes. However, Goldman Sachs believes that additional rate hikes beyond two are not part of the baseline scenario, mainly because its own inflation forecasts are lower than the median projections of Federal Reserve members.
