CANADA FX DEBT - Canadian dollar weakens, benchmark yield slips
Reuters2026/09/21 13:00The Canadian dollar weakened against the greenback on Monday, and the yield on benchmark government debt slipped.
The loonie CAD= was trading 0.1% lower at C$1.3995 to the greenback, or 71.45 U.S. cents, after trading in a range of 1.3984 to 1.4023.
Canadian government 10-year bond yields CA10YT=RR fell 2.7 basis points to 3.851%. The yield on similar U.S. government benchmark debt fell to 4.9674%.
U.S. October crude CLc1 futures fell $2.52 to $97.78 a barrel on Monday.
