Microchip Technology Completes Acquisition of Hailo

10:35 AM EDT, 09/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Microchip Technology (MCHP) said Monday it has completed the acquisition of Hailo, a provider of accelerated edge AI processors and AI software technologies. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the transaction is not expected to have a material impact on its financial results, Microchip said. With the acquisitioin, Microchip's portfolio will allow customers to develop intelligent edge systems ranging from low-power smart cameras to high-performance robotics, autonomous machines and physical AI platforms, the company said.
