According to The New York Times, SB Energy, a data center construction and operations company under SoftBank, originally planned to conduct its initial public offering (IPO) this month. The company intends to build the world's largest data center project in Ohio. However, according to four people familiar with the deal's marketing efforts, the offering has been postponed due to investor skepticism regarding SB Energy's sought valuation of $50 billion or higher. So far, investment banks have struggled to find enough buyers for SB Energy shares within the price range expected by the company and its bankers.
