StandardAero, GMR Aero Technic Sign India On-Wing Support Deal

08:50 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- StandardAero (SARO) said Wednesday that it has signed a Supplier Service Agreement with Indian maintenance, repair and overhaul service provider GMR Aero Technic to provide enhanced on-wing support services to commercial airline operators in India. Financial terms were not disclosed. The company said the partnership will initially focus on providing enhanced on-wing support services to operators in India for narrowbody engine platforms, including the CFM International CFM56-7B and LEAP-1A and LEAP-1B. "India represents one of the fastest-growing commercial aviation markets, and StandardAero is committed to ensuring that operators across the country receive the support they need to meet the nation's ambitious regional connectivity objectives," StandardAero Senior Vice President of Global Sales Rebecca Lane said in a statement.
