September S&P Global US Flash Manufacturing, Services Measures Both Increase

09:54 AM EDT, 09/23/2026 (MT Newswires) -- The September flash reading of manufacturing conditions from S&P Global rose to a 52-month high reading of 57.0 from 53.9 in August, compared with an expected reading of 53.7 in a survey compiled by Bloomberg as of 7:35 am ET. The index for services conditions jumped to a 59-month high reading of 58.7 in September from 56.5 in August, compared with expectations for a decrease to 55.8.
