09:39 AM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- IonQ (IONQ) said Thursday it has signed a contract to provide a Superion 256-qubit trapped-ion quantum computer to Florida International University in Miami. The agreement marks the first sale and deployment of the Superion 256 in Florida and establishes the university as a central hub for quantum research and education in the region, the company said. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
