EcoGraf flags 20% Phase 1 capacity uplift for Epanko graphite project to 87,600 tpa
Bitget2026/09/24 16:15- EcoGraf flagged a value-engineering review for its Epanko graphite project that lifts Phase 1 nominal capacity 20% to 87,600 tpa.
- Estimated C1 costs for the first 10 years fell 5.8% versus the February 2026 BFS to about USD 512.3 per tonne.
- The February 2026 BFS case of 73,000 tpa remains the base for development funding, with the 87,600 tpa case post-FID.
- Preliminary work indicated the 20% uplift needs no change to the BFS layout, with about USD 12 million in incremental capex.
- Higher output could support a single 25,000 tpa HFfree battery anode material plant, backing expansion plans in Europe, Asia, the US.
