As of the market close that day, the price of light crude oil futures for November delivery on the New York Mercantile Exchange rose by $2.45 to close at $94.61 per barrel, an increase of 2.66%. The price of Brent crude oil futures for November delivery on the London market increased by $3.52 to close at $106.60 per barrel, a rise of 3.41%.
