Verdera Energy Completes Sale of Treeline Uranium Project in New Mexico

05:02 PM EDT, 09/24/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Verdera Energy (V.V) after trade Thursday said it completed the sale of its Treeline Uranium Project in New Mexico to Americas Uranium Corp (NUCA.CN). The company said it received $100,000 in cash and CA$200,000 worth of Americas Uranium shares at closing. It will also receive another CA$1.8 million in Americas Uranium shares over the next 36 months, bringing the total share consideration to CA$2 million. Verdera will retain a 1.5% royalty on uranium revenue and a 1.5% royalty on other minerals produced from the project, the company said, adding that Americas Uranium can reduce these royalties to 1% by paying Verdera CA$400,000. Shares of Verdera closed unchanged at CA$0.34 on the TSX Venture Exchange, while Americas Uranium closed unchanged at CA$0.33 on the Canadian Securities Exchange.
