- He served as president of Hemco Nicaragua from 2006 to 2014, operator of the Bonanza gold mine.
- At Hemco, he developed the Modelo Bonanza, organizing artisanal miners into accredited cooperatives supplying a mercury-free processing plant with traceability.
- He previously held senior roles at Greenstone Resources, RNC Gold, led Nicaragua’s Mining Chamber from 2007 to 2019.
