Ocugen Gets Provisional Approval for OCU400 in Bahamas

08:55 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Ocugen (OCGN) said Friday that its drug, OCU400, received provisional approval and priority designation from the Longevity and Regenerative Therapies board in the Bahamas. The company said it plans to provide OCU400 through an expanded access program and aims to treat the first patient with retinitis pigmentosa within 90 days after receiving full approval. The designation provides additional regulatory coordination as Ocugen works toward full approval and patient access, the company said.
