09:00 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Healthcare stocks were mixed premarket Friday, with the State Street Health Care Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLV) 0.1% lower and the iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) up 0.5%. STAAR Surgical (STAA) shares were up more than 2% after the company said its board approved a share repurchase program allowing the company to buy back up to $50 million of its outstanding common stock.
