Microsoft Introduces Three New Capabilities to Copilot App

09:04 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft (MSFT) has introduced three new capabilities to its Copilot app, namely Home, Code, and Autopilot, it said on Friday. Home is the new starting point in Copilot, where a user can review recent activity, the technology company said. Home also brings together Chat, for quick questions, lookups, draft-creation, and Cowork, where a user defines a task and it runs it end-to-end. Meanwhile, with the help of Code, users can describe an app, tracker, dashboard, in natural language and the capability will choose an approach and build it, Microsoft said. Additionally, Autopilot, previously known as Scout, is a cloud-hosted personal agent that is capable of running task in the background without waiting for a prompt. The tool can handle meetings and follow-ups on its own and can reach out to stakeholders for updates, Microsoft said.
