Kodiak AI Plans Long-Haul Driverless Service on Dallas-Houston Freight Lane by Year-End

09:26 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Kodiak AI (KDK) said Friday it plans to launch unsupervised long-haul driverless service on the Dallas-Houston freight lane by the end of 2026. The company said it started its driverless long-haul launch program in August and reached a score of 93% on the Autonomy Readiness Measure metric at the end of the month. The metric measures the percentage of claims and evidence in its safety case for driverless operations that are materially complete, according to a statement. The company said it expects to reach 100% on the metric by the end of 2026. Kodiak shares were down more than 1% pre-bell Friday.
