NetApp to Acquire PEAK:AIO

09:32 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- NetApp (NTAP) is planning to acquire UK-based software-defined storage platform PEAK:AIO, it said Friday. Financial terms were not disclosed. PEAK:AIO's platform, which was developed with the Los Alamos National Laboratory and Carnegie Mellon University, separates metadata from data to support parallel network file system access for intensive workloads, NetApp said. The deal, intended to strengthen NetApp's AI infrastructure market position, is contingent on meeting approvals and customary closing conditions. Shares of NetApp were up 0.1% in early trading.
