VerifyMe Announces 1-for-10 Reverse Stock Split; Shares Fall

10:35 AM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- VerifyMe (VRME) announced a 1-for-10 reverse stock split, effective Tuesday. A previously announced special cash dividend will be adjusted proportionately to $1.50 a share from $0.15, the company said Friday in a statement. The payout remains dependent on the successful closing of a proposed merger with Open World, VerifyMe said. VerifyMe shares fell 23% in Friday trading.
