03:23 PM EDT, 09/25/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Tech stocks climbed late Friday afternoon, with the State Street Technology Select Sector SPDR ETF (XLK) rising 0.8% and the State Street SPDR S&P Semiconductor ETF (XSD) adding 2.9%. The Philadelphia Semiconductor index rose 1.5%. In corporate news, SK Hynix's (SKHY) Solidigm is weighing an IPO as early as next year that could value the subsidiary at up to $150 billion, Reuters reported. SK Hynix shares rose 2.8%.
