Top Cryptocurrencies Mixed; Bitcoin Holds Above $84,000 Level

The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 0.9% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 rose 0.5%, the S&P 500 added 0.6% and the Dow Jones Industrial Average increased 1%. Bitcoin eased 0.6% to $84,016, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume fell 5.6% to $35.07 billion. Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, fell 0.1% to $2,694. XRP (XRP-USD) added 2.9%, BNB (BNB-USD) declined 0.5%, and Solana (SOL-USD) rose 3.8%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) was up 2.1%, and Cardano (ADA-USD) climbed 3.1%. Total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 0.01% in the past 24 hours to $2.88 trillion, with trading volume rising 3.3% to $103.15 billion.
