Montage Gold Achieves First Gold Pour at Kone Mine

05:57 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Montage Gold (MAU.TO) has achieved first gold pour at its flagship Kone mine in Cote d'Ivoire on budget and ahead of the initial second-quarter 2027 schedule, the company said Sunday. First gold pour yielded about 1,140 ounces of gold. More than 400,000 tonnes of ore have been processed since ore was introduced into the oxide circuit on Sept. 8. The full ramp-up of the oxide circuit to commercial production is scheduled for the end of the year. Hard-rock comminution circuit remains on schedule to be completed in the second quarter of 2027.
