Leading Edge Materials Closes CA$1.7 Million Final Tranche of Private Placement

06:27 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Leading Edge Materials (LEM.V) has closed the third and final tranche of a private placement, issuing 6.9 million common shares for CA$0.25 apiece for gross proceeds of CA$1.7 million. The common shares were issued as part of a unit private placement, the company said Monday. Each unit will consist of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each warrant will entitle the holder to buy one common share for CA$0.40 apiece for a two-year period. In total, the company has issued 24 million units for total gross proceeds of CA$6 million. Net proceeds will be used to advance Leading Edge Materials' projects and for general working capital and corporate purposes. Proceeds will also support pre-feasibility study work streams and environmental permitting for the Norra Karr heavy rare earth elements project, as well as studies for a possible restart of the Woxna graphite mine and processing plant.
