- Goldgroup will invest for gross proceeds of US$75 million, or an amount capped at a 19.9% non-diluted pro forma stake.
- The commitment replaces Trafigura’s previously announced US$75 million equity backstop for the financing.
- Proceeds are earmarked to fund part of the cash consideration for the planned acquisition of Capstone’s Cozamin Mine.
- Goldgroup gains investor rights if it holds at least 10%, including nomination rights for two board seats.
