Brixmor, Everview Partners form joint venture to buy Slate Grocery REIT assets for $1.71 billion

- Brixmor will buy 23 grocery-anchored centers for USD 636 million, mostly in Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas.
- The joint venture will acquire 92 additional centers for USD 1.71 billion, with Brixmor holding 20% common equity.
- Everview will hold 80% common equity; an ADIA subsidiary will invest alongside Everview in the transaction.
- Brixmor will invest about USD 174 million of preferred equity in the joint venture, earning a 9% dividend.
