Palvella Therapeutics Wins Additional US FDA Grant Funding for Rare Skin Disease Drug

08:17 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Palvella Therapeutics (PVLA) said Monday that it has received a third year of grant funding from the US Food and Drug Administration to support trials for its rare skin disease treatment. The funding supports the late-stage study and an ongoing extension study of Qtorin rapamycin for microcystic lymphatic malformations, the drug developer said. The award comes after the FDA reviewed Palvella's annual performance progress report, which included results from the late-stage trial, the company said. Palvella submitted a New Drug Application last month after the late-stage trial met all primary and secondary endpoints, the company said.
