A2Gold Begins RC Drilling at Target Pente at Eastside Gold-Silver Project

08:33 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- A2Gold (AUAU.V) started reverse-circulation drilling at Target Pente at its flagship Eastside Gold-Silver Project in Nevada, it said Monday. The company expects the current program to include approximately eight RC drill holes totaling 3,700 meters, and test the potential for high-grade epithermal veins, it added. "With drilling now underway at Pente, we are moving directly into the next phase of our exploration strategy at Eastside," said Chief Executive Officer Peter Gianulis. "Our focus is increasingly on testing the potential for high-grade veins within this very large epithermal system, rather than simply expanding upon the known bulk-tonnage gold-silver mineralization." The company's shares closed down CA$0.02, or 3.2%, to CA$0.61 Friday on the TSX Venture Exchange.
