Lantheus Doses First Patient in Phase 2/3 Prostate Cancer Trial

08:58 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lantheus (LNTH) said Monday it dosed the first patient in a phase 2/3 registrational trial evaluating investigational positron emission tomography imaging agent LNTH-2401 that targets the gastrin-releasing peptide receptor expressed in prostate cancer. The study includes a phase 2 dose optimization period and a phase 3 diagnostic performance, the company said. The phase 3 portion is expected to enroll about 400 participants to assess diagnostic accuracy, safety, and tolerability, with endpoints of sensitivity and specificity compared with histopathology, Lantheus said.
