4D Molecular Therapeutics Begins Phase 3 Trial of 4D-150 in Diabetic Macular Edema

09:03 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- 4D Molecular Therapeutics (FDMT) has enrolled the first patients in a phase 3 trial of 4D-150 in diabetic macular edema, the company said Monday. The trial will enroll 514 treatment-naive patients and compare 4D-150 with aflibercept 2 mg administered every eight weeks, it said. The primary endpoint is non-inferiority in the mean change from baseline in best corrected visual acuity at Week 52, 4D Molecular said.
