Lifecore Biomedical to Be Acquired by Webster Equity Partners for Up to $663 Million

09:29 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Lifecore Biomedical (LFCR) said Monday it agreed to be acquired by Webster Equity Partners in a transaction valued at up to $663.7 million. Under the deal terms, common stockholders will receive $6.28 per share in cash at closing along with one contingent value right, the company said. The agreement includes potential milestone payments of up to $160 million in total cash if performance targets are met through 2030, Lifecore said. Shares of the company were up 2.5% in Monday premarket activity.
