Revolution Medicines Seen Having 'Strong' Rasonque Launch in Pancreatic Cancer, UBS Says

11:58 AM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Revolution Medicines (RVMD) is expected to have a "strong" launch for its Rasonque drug in second-line pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma patients, and in some first-line patients as well, UBS Securities said in a Friday note. The approval by the US Food and Drug Administration allows the drug to be used in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma patients who are not candidates for multiagent chemotherapy but does not give strict guidelines on how that is defined, leaving the determination largely in physicians' hands, the analysts said. The analysts said they anticipate more first-line usage than expected, based on strong data and an extremely high unmet need for treatments. National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines were recently updated to include Rasonque, or daraxonrasib, as a Category 2A recommendation in non-small-cell lung cancer with KRAS mutations at the phase 2 dose of 200 milligrams. This could support incremental off-label use of the drug, according to the note. UBS has a buy rating on Revolution Medicines, with a $265 price target.
