Ganfeng invests USD 180 million in Lithium Argentina via 6-year convertible note
Bitget2026/09/28 20:15- Lithium Argentina closed a US$180 million strategic investment from Ganfeng via a six-year unsecured convertible note with a 4% coupon.
- The note is convertible into common shares at US$12.50 per share.
- Proceeds, alongside cash on hand, will repay US$259 million of convertible notes due January 2027.
- Ganfeng holds about 9.6% of common shares; full conversion would add 14,400,000 shares, lifting ownership to about 16.1% fully diluted.
