Samsung Affiliates to Invest $1 Billion in KKR's Helix AI Infrastructure

08:03 PM EDT, 09/28/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Samsung Electronics and five affiliates said Monday they are investing a combined $1 billion in Helix Digital Infrastructure, an AI infrastructure company established by KKR (KKR). Samsung Electronics will invest $500 million, with Samsung C&T, Samsung SDS, Samsung SDI, Samsung Life Insurance and Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance investing the remainder, the companies said. Other founding investors in Helix include KKR, the Kuwait Investment Authority, NVIDIA and US power company Vistra, according to the statement.
