Digital Core REIT's 2027 Distribution Per Unit Growth Could Be Among Sector Highest -- Market Talk
Dow Jones2026/09/29 05:340534 GMT - Digital Core REIT's 2027 distribution per unit growth could be among the highest in the Singapore real-estate investment trust sector, say Jefferies' Geraldine Wong and Wilson Ng in a note. Digital Core is expanding its Asia Pacific exposure, they say, noting that the region is one of the fastest-growing for data centers thanks to accelerating artificial-intelligence demand. The REIT's latest acquisitions should boost the trust's investment-grade tenant exposure to 86% from 83%, the analysts add. They expect 2027 distribution per unit to grow 16%, boosted by backfilling of an asset and uplift from its portfolio reconstitution. Jefferies starts its coverage of Digital Core with a buy rating and US$0.65 target price. Units are up 1.1% at US$0.46. (megan.cheah@wsj.com)

Korean retail investors shift to the US in Q3: Sold over 5.5 trillion won of Korean stocks, purchased more than 10 trillion won of US stocks
In the third quarter, Korean retail investors made net purchases of US stocks worth approximately 10.15 trillion won, marking a complete reversal from the previous pattern in the first half of the year, when they made net purchases of nearly 100 trillion won in KOSPI stocks. In September alone, the sell-off amount reached as high as 14.2 trillion won. Analysts attribute this shift to a combination of factors: a sharp decline in KOSPI at high levels, the continued strength of the US stock market driven by AI themes, and the appreciation of the Korean won reducing currency exchange costs.
